Occupational Therapist, Nelson Hospital, Permanent This role is for a therapist with experience to work aspartof the multidisciplinary team at Nelson Hospital. You will work directly alongsideanother skilled Occupational therapists and Occupational Therapy Allied HealthAssistants which you will support and share your experience with. About the Role As an Occupational Therapist in our close-knit team, youwill provide tailored assessment , intervention and rehabilitation services andsupport patients through their healthcare journey. You'll help patients maximisetheir functional independence. This role is based in Nelson Hospital and is a permanentrole, working up to 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday betweenthe hours of 7:00AM to 5:00PM. On-callis not required at this time, however you may be required to work weekend shiftsto cover leave. For more information on living and working in Nelson click here About you Asan Occupational Therapist, you will: have NZregistration in Occupational Therapy, a current practising certificate and arange of generalist and life skills. Be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs, Have a genuine passion for working with patients in the hospital ontheir health journey, Effectivetime management and organisational skills, Work autonomously, collaboratively, and develop positiveinterpersonal relationships, Have a full clean drivers licence. Thesuccessful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZvisa at the time of applying.
