About the Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced seniorRegistered Nurse with an interest and specialist knowledge in endoscopy to jointhe small NEQIP Team as our Nurse Lead to help deliver and support the NationalEndoscopy Quality Improvement Programme (NEQIP) across Health NZ Districts. The national Nurse Lead is a key member of the NEQIP team,acting as a subject matter expert and delivering senior nursing leadership toensure the delivery of strategic programme objectives. We are looking for someone who is committed and passionateto succeed in this role and who as a positive role model will workcollaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team across the NationalScreening Unit (NSU), National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP) and theEndoscopy Guidance Group for New Zealand (EGGNZ). Furthermore, you will work closely with public sectorfacilities across New Zealand to support patient centred endoscopy quality andservice improvement using the New Zealand Global Rating Scale (NZGRS) nationalframework of quality standards. The core team are based in Canterbury, however flexibleremote working, with travel to the office when required, can be supported.Appointment on a secondment basis may also be possible. About You To be successful in this role, you will have expert nursingknowledge with extensive clinical experience, preferably in the specialty ofEndoscopy or a related field. Your personal skills will include beingself-motivated and reliable with working independently and must have theability to work collaboratively within a multi-faceted team on a nationallevel. You will be able to prioritise your workloads daily. Skills and Experience: Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand Hold a current Nursing Council of New Zealandpractising certificate Atleast five years experience working either within the relevant clinicalspeciality or relevant senior nursing role Experienceand skill in senior nursing leadership and/or service management Expert knowledge of endoscopy nursing or a relatedfield Experience in education and training Experience of managing change/service improvement Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
