Dental Holdings is an established dental group overseeing three dental practices across the Manawatū region. Our practices range in size, from a busy 10-chair practice to smaller 4-chair and 3-chair practices, supported by a dedicated team of dentists, oral health therapists, hygienists, dental assistants, receptionists and administrative staff. We're looking for an experienced Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our three practices. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring each practice operates efficiently, supporting our teams to perform at their best, and driving the continued success of the businesses. A key part of this role will be fostering a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture across all three practices. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, builds strong relationships, leads by example and creates an environment where staff feel valued, supported and motivated to do their best. Working closely with the CEO, COO and clinical leadership teams, you'll play an integral role in the ongoing success of each practice while contributing to the wider organisation's continued growth and development. If you're an organised, people-focused leader who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems, developing people and working across multiple locations, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role Reporting to the CEO and COO, you'll be responsible for the overall operational management of three dental practices, including: Leading, mentoring and supporting teams across three dental practices. Managing the day-to-day operations of practices ranging from 3 to 10 chairs. Fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture across all three practices. Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management and staff development. Building strong relationships with staff and creating an environment where people feel supported, valued and engaged. Managing budgets, financial reporting and business performance across the practices. Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for improvement. Overseeing equipment maintenance, servicing and capital purchases across multiple locations. Managing supplier relationships and ensuring stock levels and resources are well maintained. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements, employment legislation and practice policies. Developing and improving systems and processes to maximise efficiency across all three practices. Working closely with practice teams and clinical leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and service. Identifying opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and the overall patient experience. Supporting the implementation of consistent systems and processes across the group while recognising the individual needs of each practice. Working closely with the CEO, COO and clinical leadership teams to support the ongoing growth and success of the practices. About You We're looking for someone who brings strong leadership skills together with sound commercial and operational experience, and who understands that a successful business starts with a strong team culture. You’ll ideally have: Previous experience in business, operations or practice management. Experience managing teams across multiple locations or departments. Proven leadership and people management experience. A genuine passion for building and maintaining a positive team culture. The ability to motivate, develop and bring out the best in others. Experience managing budgets and financial performance. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. A proactive, solutions-focused approach. Confidence making decisions and managing multiple priorities. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. The ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels of an organisation. Experience in the dental or healthcare industry would be advantageous, but it is not essential. While industry experience is preferred, our priority is finding someone with strong people management, leadership and business management skills who can successfully lead our teams and oversee the operational performance of multiple practices. We are open to candidates from a range of industries who can demonstrate strong leadership, sound commercial understanding, and a proven ability to build positive team cultures and successfully manage people and business operations. Why Join Dental Holdings? Lead the operations of three established dental practices. Work across a varied group of practices, from a busy 10-chair practice to smaller 3 and 4-chair practices. Be part of an established and growing organisation. Work alongside experienced CEO, COO and clinical leadership teams. Have the opportunity to make a genuine impact across multiple practices. Help shape and strengthen a positive culture across the wider organisation. A varied role where every day is different. Competitive remuneration based on experience. Opportunities for professional development and career growth. If you're looking for a rewarding leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on people, practice performance and the wider business, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
