Based in our Thames office , you’ll lead day‑to‑day building compliance activities, ensuring inspections and enforcement functions are delivered to a consistently high standard across the district. What you’ll do: Lead, coach and support a close-knot Building Compliance team Oversee monitoring, compliance, and enforcement activities Ensure high‑quality inspections, including BWOF and swimming pool fencing Meet statutory timeframes and compliance requirements Build effective internal and external relationships Drive continuous improvement and practical solutions About you You’re a confident, supportive leader who enjoys developing people and helping teams perform at their best. You bring sound judgement, strong communication skills, and a balanced, solutions‑focused approach to compliance. You’ll bring: Proven experience in building compliance, including BWOFs and pool fencing legislation A building or building control qualification (advantageous) A genuine passion for coaching, developing, and empowering people Clear communication and confident decision-making Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills Why choose TCDC?
