Site Manager | Night Shift

An established Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead night shift operations on a major, complex construction project in Auckland. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a significant programme of works within a live operational environment, working alongside a highly experienced project team on one of New Zealand's most notable developments. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of night works, coordinating subcontractors, managing site operations and ensuring programme milestones are achieved. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with proven experience delivering commercial, infrastructure or complex construction projects and will be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all site activities during night shift operations Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements Monitor quality, productivity and programme performance Identify and resolve site issues proactively Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and day shift teams Drive a positive site culture with a strong focus on safety and performance What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial, industrial or infrastructure construction Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills Excellent planning, organisational and communication abilities Demonstrated commitment to health and safety best practice Ability to work effectively in a live operational environment Experience delivering large-scale or technically complex projects will be highly regarded What's on Offer Immediate start available Company vehicle included Night shift roster: Sunday to Thursday, 6:00pm to 4:00am Opportunity to work on a flagship Auckland construction project Support from a highly experienced project and leadership team Please note that while this role is primarily a night shift position, there may be occasional periods of day shift work required to align with client and project requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
