About the opportunity We are seeking a Junior Project Manager with a background in delivering software development projects, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end coordination of delivering Software projects, from conception, implementation, testing, acceptance and Business As Usual (BAU). Your primary focus will be on managing scope, timelines and costs to ensure the quality and successful completion of projects. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also play a pivotal role in facilitating communication between our customers and technical experts, working closely with other software vendors and ensuring successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead IT projects, contributing to and ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budget constraints. Working with the Business Systems Analysts to analyze customer specifications and help develop technical proposals for software implementations. Ensure the timely design and development of product implementations and working with other vendor Project Managers on any integration components. Coordinate communication between customers and technical teams to facilitate project requirements and feedback. Schedule project resources, including employees and external contractors, to ensure efficient project execution. Collaborate closely with software development teams to align project objectives with product development goals within agreed timeframes and budget. Assist in the preparation of customer-specific offers, including evaluation, solution proposals, and cost estimation based on project requirements and specifications. About you Tertiary qualification in engineering or information technology related subject Experience in project management, with an understanding of Software implementation project lifecycle and methodologies. Knowledge of SQL and understanding of software development processes, with the ability to coordinate implementation of software modules and applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate tasks and facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyse customer requirements and help drive the development of technical solutions. Experience in preparing customer-specific offers and proposals, including evaluation and cost estimation, is highly desirable.
