Customer Service and Sales at Device Repair Guy Device Repair Guy specializes in retail and repairs of personal electronics, including phones and laptops. This is a hands‑on role on the shop floor, where you'll assist with the day‑to‑day customer service operations. You will be responsible for front desk duties and engaging with customers. We are looking for a confident individual who enjoys interacting with customers and is tech savvy. Key Requirements: Willingness to learn the business and internal systems. Strong sales and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and stay motivated. Familiarity with technology, especially Apple products. Professional appearance and attitude. You don't need to be a technician, but you should feel confident discussing customer devices (phones, laptops) and the hardware or software issues they may face, as this is a customer‑facing role. Key Responsibilities: Serve customers in‑store, via email, and over the phone. Provide and follow up on service quotes. Ensure customer accounts are up to date with payments. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment. Support the technician by booking repair jobs and updating customers on repair progress. Discuss customer needs and offer advice on products, pricing, warranties, and usage. Demonstrate and explain our products and services to customers. Sell Apple devices, accessories, and peripherals. Process payments and prepare sales invoices. Assist in stock management, including inventories and stock takes. Display and arrange products for sale.
