About the Role As the Allied Health Therapy Services Manager Te Whata Moanarua, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of Allied Health services across inpatient, outpatient and community settings. Leading a large multidisciplinary workforce, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality and equitable care while driving service performance, workforce development and continuous improvement. About the Team/Service/ Location Te Whata Moanarua encompasses a broad range of Allied Health services, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Language Therapy, Social Work, Dietetics, Allied Health Assistants, Hand Therapy, Outpatient Physiotherapy services, the Children's Hub, ORBIT service and the Home Loan Equipment Store. Based at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital in Hastings, you'll join a dedicated team committed to delivering integrated, person and whānau-centred care. Our Allied Health professionals play a vital role in supporting patient recovery, rehabilitation and wellbeing across the continuum of care. About you As an experienced Allied Health leader, you will bring: A recognised Allied Health qualification and current New Zealand registration with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Proven leadership experience within a healthcare environment, including leading multidisciplinary teams and managing service delivery. Strong operational and workforce management skills, with experience in quality improvement, planning and performance management. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
