Motion Recruitment – Upper Hutt, North Island We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Building Maintenance Yards Person to join a busy team on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for repairing and preparing modular hire buildings for delivery. This is a practical, physically active role where no two days are the same, involving building repairs, maintenance, and yard duties to ensure all units are presented to a high standard. What's On Offer: Competitive hourly rate Temporary assignment with full-time Monday to Friday hours Supportive team environment Opportunity to gain experience with a well-established company Key Responsibilities: Repairing and refurbishing portable hire buildings returned from hire Preparing hire buildings for delivery, including inspections and quality checks Carrying out general maintenance including door repairs, panel replacements, painting, gutter cleaning, air conditioning servicing, flooring repairs, and furniture installation/removal Completing on-hire and off-hire inspections using an app Assisting with general yard maintenance, logistics, and supporting contractors when required What We're Looking For: Previous experience in building maintenance, construction, carpentry, handyman, or a similar practical role Confident using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail with pride in producing quality work Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
