Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a genuinely varied role where you'll have the opportunity to influence leaders, support our people, drive continuous improvement and make a real difference. If you're someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into operational HR, you'll feel right at home here. What you’ll be doing No two days are the same. You'll partner with leaders across the business on everything from day-to-day people matters through to improvement initiatives. Your work will include: Providing trusted HR advice and coaching to managers Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning Leading performance, development and talent conversations Driving employee engagement and culture initiatives Supporting remuneration and annual review processes Assisting with employment relations matters Reviewing and improving HR systems, processes and policies Delivering HR projects that continue to lift the employee experience You'll have the autonomy to identify opportunities for improvement and the support to see them through. About you We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and making things happen. Ideally you'll bring: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline Around five years' experience in a generalist HR advisory role Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice Confidence partnering with leaders at all levels Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A practical, solutions-focused approach The ability to balance competing priorities while keeping the bigger picture in mind Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of the business—not sitting on the sidelines.
