We arelooking for aProgramme Team Leadto join our Project Management Office (PMO).As our Programme Team Lead,you'lllead the planning and governance of Council's infrastructure capital programme, working across the organisation to ensure projectsare prioritised, sequenced, and ready for successful delivery. This role worksclosely with Activity Managers, Finance, Project Managers, and senior leaders,you'llplay a critical role in ensuring Council's infrastructure investment is well planned, coordinated, and positioned for success.This is an influential role for someone who enjoys bringing people togetherand thinking strategically. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Your focus in this role will include: Leadingthe Programme Team and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. Leadingthe planning,prioritisationand sequencing of Council's infrastructure capital programme, with a particular focus on ensuring projects and programmes are delivery ready. Working alongside Activity Managers and Finance to develop robust capital programmes, budgets, and investment plans. Leading programme governance, reporting, and performance monitoring to support informed decision-making. Managing Council's Design Panel and ensuring effective governance of design review processes. You'rea strategic thinker who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and building strong relationships across an organisation.Importantly you have a strong drive ‘to get the job done’.You'recomfortable influencing senior stakeholders,facilitatingchallenging conversations, and balancing competing priorities to achieve the best outcome. What you will bring: A degree inProject Management, PlanningBusiness, Engineering, or a related discipline. Significant experienceleading programme or project planning, ideally within an infrastructure environment. Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing teams. Experience bringing together multidisciplinary stakeholders to develop shared solutions and priorities. Strong financialacumen, comfort in analysing data and making decisions,andgovernance capability. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
