You'll work hands-on to keep instruments and equipment flowing smoothly, working closely with theatre teams to support surgical services day to day. It's a great mix of leadership and technical know-how, with plenty of scope to make the role your own. About the role Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Sterile Services team Support the delivery and availability of instruments and equipment Ensure reusable medical devices are reprocessed safely and to compliance standards Keep workflows running efficiently to support surgical services Contribute to audits, quality improvement, infection prevention and health and safety Attractive remuneration, plus a relocation allowance and referral bonus scheme Funded health insurance and a wellbeing programme Flexible working arrangements Nursing Council of New Zealand-approved PDRP for your professional growth Discounts from a range of partners Opportunity to join the Employee Network Skills and Experience At least 5 years' experience in Sterile Services NZSSA registration as a Sterile Science Technician Level 5 Diploma in Sterilising Technology, or willing to work towards it Strong understanding of AS/NZS 5369 standards Experience with traceability systems, audits, quality documentation and compliance monitoring Previous leadership or supervisory experience Confident training, mentoring and supporting team members Comfortable managing workflow, setting priorities and solving problems Good understanding of health and safety requirements Reference: 219713 #J-18808-Ljbffr
