We're on the hunt for an experienced Cabinet Making Tutor who has a passion for teaching and mentoring students to achieve cabinet making skills, and who will thrive delivering our Kitchen Manufacturing programme. About the Role Based at our Wiri Campus , and reporting to the Head of Department Building Surveying and Manufacturing, you'll be part of the team responsible for the delivery of our Kitchen Manufacturing programme in a manner that maximises learning opportunities and responds to the varying and complex needs of our students. You will: Develop and maintain learning and teaching resources, including course materials for integration in Moodle. Design and deliver learning and teaching experiences that are responsive to learner needs and grounded in learner-centred, hands‑on practical workshops. Mark and confirm assessments accurately and in a timely manner, and provide students with constructive feedback on their progress. Induct and support students in the programme, and anticipate, be receptive to, and refer on any student‑related problems that arise. About You Experience in cabinet making and kitchen cabinet installations in New Zealand. A relevant qualification at Level 4 , or equivalent industry work experience. A Certificate in Adult Education (Level 5) is preferred, ora willingness to worktowards a teaching qualification. The ability to build effective relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds, including Māori and Pasifika communities. Strong planning , organisational, and time management skills. Confident, clear communication skills and a dedication to helping learners achieve theiroutcomes. Your passion and knowledge of the trade will ensure you meet the needs of your students and provide them with a genuinely rewarding learning experience.
