Job Description

Based primarily at our customer's manufacturing site, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting chemical distribution, dosing and dispensing systems that are critical to our customer's daily operations. This is a fixed-term position for an initial period of 3 to 6 months, ideal for someone who enjoys fault-finding, repairing equipment, improving systems, and working closely with customers in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key responsibilities Maintaining and supporting chemical distribution, dosing and dispensing systems Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to pumps, pipework, valves, sensors and control equipment Responding to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational downtime Carrying out preventative maintenance and system inspections Assisting with system upgrades, modifications and improvement projects Installing additional equipment and system extensions as required Communicating effectively with Head Office team regarding system performance, repair requirements, parts needs and customer requests Working in a positive and constructive way with customer personnel Being available on-call to provide after-hours support when required About you Experience in industrial maintenance, service, engineering or technical support roles Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills Experience working with pumps, pipework, valves, controls or industrial process equipment The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities A strong commitment to health and safety A clean and current driver's licence About us Hygiene Technologies provides innovative hygiene solutions to New Zealand's food and beverage industry.
