Panel Line fabricator/operator

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Panel Line fabricator/operator to join our panel manufacturing team at our Christchurch factory. Working under the guidance of our Factory Manager and Production Supervisor, you'll be hands-on in the manufacturing of our CodeMark-certified SIP panels - assembling OSB board and EPS foam core components, operating machinery, and ensuring every panel that leaves the floor meets our exacting quality standards. This is a physical, rewarding role where you'll see the results of your work go into real homes across New Zealand. What you'll be doing Assembling Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) from raw materials including OSB board, EPS foam core, and adhesive Operating panel presses and factory equipment in line with safe operating procedures Cutting, routing, and finishing panels to specification using technical drawings Carrying out quality checks to ensure panels meet standard Following panel layout instructions accurately and with care Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe Working as part of a team to meet production schedules and delivery targets Supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor What we're looking for Experience in a manufacturing, production, or trade environment (preferred but not essential - we're happy to train the right person) A hands-on, practical mindset with solid attention to detail Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions A strong work ethic and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and a team player Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet in a factory environment Forklift license or willingness to obtain one (advantageous) A commitment to health and safety on the factory floor #J-18808-Ljbffr
