FTC Civil Structural PM

Wanganui, North Island Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong pipeline of infrastructure and building projects. They are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Project Manager to join their team on a fixed-term or contract basis to cover maternity leave. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a diverse range of projects, including roading, seismic strengthening of commercial buildings, and industrial land development. The Role You will take ownership of projects end-to-end, working closely with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. Key responsibilities include: Managing civil and structural projects from planning through to completion Coordinating consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders Administering contracts in line with NZS 3910 and related standards Keeping projects on track across programme, budget, and quality Providing practical input across both design and construction phases Identifying and mitigating project risks About You You will come from a civil or structural engineering background and have transitioned into project management within a consultancy, contractor, or client-side environment.
