The Role We're looking for a Room Attendant to help keep LyLo Auckland looking its best. You'll take pride in turning our rooms and public spaces into spotless, welcoming spots that make guests feel right at home, all while being part of a genuinely fun and supportive team. It's hands-on, it keeps you moving, and every day you'll see the difference your work makes. This is a part-time role working 20 to 35 hours per week, and you'll need current work rights in New Zealand along with the flexibility to work weekends and public holidays. Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising all surfaces Replace linens and towels, and keep guest room amenities well stocked Maintain the cleanliness of public areas like lobbies, hallways and common spaces Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance Team Handle lost and found items in line with hotel policy, and respond promptly to guest requests Assist with laundry duties and follow safety, hygiene and PPE protocols at all times What You'll Bring Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting is an advantage but not essential Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects Current work rights in New Zealand Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays A reliable, positive attitude and pride in a job well done A team player who's easy to work with and always up for a laugh How You Work Daymaker ethos: no one's too big for the small things Owner's mindset: acts on feedback and looks for ways to improve Hands-on and non-hierarchical: mucks in wherever needed Resilient and solutions-focused: stays calm, keeps it moving Perks from Day One As part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
