We are now looking for a Design & Quote Coordinator to join our Product Team at our Support Office in Onehunga. About the opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded and computer-confident person who enjoys working with data, numbers, plans and design software. You do not need to be an experienced HVAC installer or engineer. Our experienced Product Team will provide training in HVAC products, system design, quoting and industry requirements. You will initially work closely with senior team members while developing the skills needed to produce tailored HVAC designs and accurate quotes for residential projects. What you will be doing Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the design of tailored ventilation, heating and cooling solutions Reviewing building plans and translating information into practical system designs Preparing drawings, product lists, bills of materials and customer quotes Using Excel, design software and internal systems to calculate and document solutions Supporting the sales and operations teams with product, design and quoting information Maintaining accurate technical and product documentation Assisting with product testing, process improvement and technical projects Working with Product, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Operations teams Developing your knowledge of HVAC products, building requirements and installation practices About you We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and very comfortable using technology. You may already have experience in technical coordination, estimating, drafting, data analysis, product support or another computer-based role. Alternatively, you may be a capable graduate or early-career candidate looking to build specialist technical skills. You will ideally bring: Strong general computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software Confidence working with numbers, data and detailed information An interest in technical design and problem-solving The ability to read or learn to interpret building plans Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Clear written and verbal communication skills The ability to work collaboratively with a range of teams CAD or technical drawing experience would be helpful but is not essential Experience with manufacturing, construction, installation or HVAC would be useful but is not required Most importantly, you will be eager to learn and comfortable working in an office-based role where accuracy, technology and problem-solving are central to your day.
