You'll play a key role in embedding risk and compliance into everyday operations, decision making, and change initiatives. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you\'ll coordinate risk events, issues, and remediation activities, support the implementation of controls and regulatory requirements, and provide visibility of the risk environment. Using your practical approach and ability to build strong partnerships, you\'ll proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of our compliance and risk mitigation outcomes and help ensure sustainable outcomes for both customers and the business. For this role we\'re looking for a pragmatic risk and compliance professional who enjoys partnering with others, influencing outcomes, and finding practical solutions in a complex environment. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following: Strong Understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory requirements with ability to apply these in a practical and customer focused way An understanding of the systems and processes used in a business banking environment would be an advantage Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence across diverse teams Experienced in managing or coordinating risk events, issues, and remediation activities through to resolution Proven ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and strengthen controls and ways of working Experienced in supporting risk, compliance, or regulatory change initiatives within a complex environment Excellentcommunication and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance You do not need to tick every box here to be considered!
