Project Manager - main commercial contractor Bay of Plenty Our client has a proud history of delivering a variety of commercial projects across the BOP. They have a commitment to excellence and have evolved as a dynamic 'outside the box' thinking firm in the commercial construction space. We’re now looking to expand the Project Management & leadership team in their BOP division. About the Role As an accomplished Project Manager, you'll take the lead on construction projects, guiding delivery teams to execute work safely, on time, to spec, and on budget. You'll be a confident leader & mentor with a sharp commercial focus, responsible for motivating teams and driving performance while upholding the company's values of team culture, fairness, honesty, performance, and collaborative success. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage site teams, including Site Managers, Foremen, QSs, and support staff Ensure the successful delivery of projects in line with safety, quality, time, and cost objectives Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet programme requirements Drive a safety-first culture through proactive risk management and compliance Monitor financial performance, budgets, and contract delivery metrics Liaise with internal stakeholders including QS/Estimators Manage site documentation, reporting, and programme updates Maintain strong client and consultant relationships throughout the build lifecycle What You'll Bring Strong planning - MS Project, Procore or similar Managing insitu concrete Precast concrete Structural steel Cranage Sure loading and propping Scaffolding systems Bulk earth works Cut and fill Retaining & piling In ground services Site works Trade letting, assisting with trade letting, suggesting alternatives Benefits Happy to work on a variety of projects including those that shape communities Be part of a values-led, high-performing team Competitive negotiable salary package + vehicle Ongoing opportunities for career growth and development Please note you must have NZ residency in place coupled with notable NZ experience to be considered for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
