We're seeking an Estimator to join an established engineering business supporting industrial maintenance, mechanical, construction and coatings projects. Working closely with operational teams, you'll develop accurate estimates, practical work plans and commercially sound proposals that support successful project delivery. About the Role You’ll be responsible for preparing estimates, reviewing project scopes, identifying risks and developing execution methodologies that align with operational capability and client requirements. Working alongside experienced operational and technical stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between tender submissions and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates for tenders, quotes and project proposals. Develop pricing based on labour, materials, subcontractors and project risks. Review tender documentation and identify risks, gaps and opportunities. Develop practical work methodologies and execution plans. Collaborate with operations, technical and project teams to validate assumptions and delivery strategies. Support tender submissions and project handovers. Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing project performance against estimates. About You We're interested in candidates who have experience in estimating and planning experience within engineering, construction, or industrial environments. Strong commercial and numerical capability. Experience interpreting scopes and developing cost estimates. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, solutions-focused approach. Experience with tenders, pricing, or delivery planning. Trade, engineering, quantity surveying, project management, or commercial qualifications. What's on Offer?
