About the Role The Radiology Department at Waipapa Hospital are on thelookout for efficient and flexible Radiographic Assistants to join our kapa(team). This is a varied role for someone with a passion for patient care and who islooking to develop their career in healthcare. You will be working at Waipapa ED department, this is aavared position which could see supporting multiple modalities on night shift2300-0730am Monday – Sunday. We are seeking candidates that can work permanentpart-time and also can pick up additional shifts to cover sick, annual leaveand unplanned leave. This role is ever evolving and will be sure to keep youthinking. Salary Starting from $75353.00-$90,665 pro rata Based onthe PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical collective agreement In this role, you will be responsible for: Interactingwith patients in person and handling enquires over the phone Assistingwith patients Supportingthe MRT’s or Sonographers and Registrars Available shifts 24 hours per week 2300-0.730 (3 days aweek permanent night shift) 16 hours per week 2300-0.730 (2 days a weekpermanent night shift) 16 hours per week 2300-0.730 (2 days a weekpermanent night shift) About You Excellentcommunication skills as well as great attention to detail andorganisational skills Anatural team player, with the ability to see the bigger picture Theability to work co-operatively in a large and busy environment Knowledgeof the Health Sector Experiencein customer service is essential Confidenceusing computer systems is desirable No radiology experience or qualification are required forthe position however a passion for the field of Radiology and commitment topatient care is essential.
