Project Managers, Civils, Earthworks & drainage, Mount Maunganui Harper Smith Recruitment – Tauranga, North Island Our client is a highly respected, long established civil, commercial and residential earthworks and drainage contracting company. The team is steadily growing and they need an additional experienced Project Manager for the team. This position will report to the General Manager and liaise with other senior staff including site staff, Site Foreman and Estimators. Land development including all earthworks, drainage, watermain and roading Earthworks Commercial & Residential drainage The job description would include (but not limited to) the following: Delivery of contracts to ensure budgets and time-frames are met. Scheduling of staff, sub-contractors, and equipment to ensure jobs run efficiently. Communicate confidently with clients, engineers, council representatives and on the ground staff. Ensure all works are completed to the required standards. Recording of all QA and testing requirements. Ensure all H&S requirements are prepared for individual jobs and ensure these requirements are carried out on-site. The preferred applicant should have the following: At least 5 years’ experience in Project Management of Civil projects including earthworks, drainage and roading with a proven track record in delivering quality outcomes. Be able to work confidently with a diverse team and create a positive and happy work environment and be a good rooster! Have excellent computer skills including MS suite.
