Psychiatrist – Medical Lead - Adult Community Mental Health Services Fred Recruitment Pte Ltd – Auckland, North Island We are seeking an experienced and respected Consultant Psychiatrist for a senior medical leadership opportunity within Adult Community Mental Health Services in Auckland. This is a unique role combining strategic leadership responsibilities with ongoing clinical practice, offering the opportunity to influence service delivery, workforce development and clinical governance while remaining connected to frontline care. Working collaboratively with senior clinical and operational leaders, the successful candidate will provide professional and clinical leadership across specialist adult community mental health services, supporting high standards of care, service innovation and positive outcomes for tangata whaiora. This position would suit a forward-thinking clinician who is passionate about leadership, quality improvement and strengthening multidisciplinary mental health services within a large and complex healthcare environment. The role includes: Strategic and professional medical leadership within adult community mental health services Contribution to clinical governance, quality and safety initiatives Collaboration with multidisciplinary and senior leadership teams Supporting workforce development and medical professional leadership Ongoing clinical work within community mental health services We are looking for someone who brings: Extensive experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist within mental health services Demonstrated leadership capability and collaborative working style Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills Commitment to innovation, service development and equitable healthcare outcomes Passion for supporting high quality, recovery-focused mental health care Commitment to culturally safe practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles To be successful in this role, you will have: Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Psychiatry A current Annual Practising Certificate or eligibility to obtain one Proven experience in clinical leadership and governance A strong commitment to quality improvement and service excellence This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of specialist adult community mental health services while working within a supportive and values-driven leadership environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
