Company Website: www.nzagedcare.co.nz As a Caregiver, you will provide day-to-day support to our residents, assisting them with personal care and daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort. You will work as part of a supportive care team under the guidance of nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care. Provide personal care assistance (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting) Support residents with meals and hydration Assist with mobility and daily activities Observe and report any changes in residents’ wellbeing Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment Work collaboratively with nurses and other care staff Support residents with kindness, patience, and respect A caring and compassionate nature Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn Previous caregiving experience is an advantage but not essential Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings A genuine passion for supporting older people A minimum of 6 months’ experience in aged and community care, including supporting residents with ACC needs. Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 qualified Trained in catheter care and hoist use Holds a full New Zealand driver licence.
