The opportunity We are seeking a dedicated three waters engineer to join the Engineering Services Team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the performance and condition and looking for optimisation opportunities of either our water and network systems or our regional drinking water and wastewater regional treatment plants. This work will directly improve the organisational understanding of these assets and how best to make sure they're still serving our communities, businesses, and the environment. With a focus on innovation and collaborative problem-solving, you will investigate issues, develop plans, and recommend interventions to enhance network performance and sustainability. Key responsibilities Solve complex engineering problems across your portfolio to make a difference in the community Collaborate with multiple teams across the organisation to steer 3 waters outcomes Based in our Petone office close to the train station, beach and shops This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term position of 40 hours per week. The remuneration range for this role is $86,230 to $121,736 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
