Description: Operating under limited supervision, you will assist drainage specialists and heavy machine operators to ensure pipeline and infrastructure assets are safely and precisely installed according to specifications. This role also includes being available for the on-call roster and attending callouts and emergency works. Some of what you’ll do: Perform semi-technical physical work Asset installations, water meter and flow meter installations Machinery operation across our water networks (potable, stormwater, and wastewater). Assist with repairing water breaks Operate plant and machinery that you are trained, competent and licenced to use Essentials Skills & Experience: Class 1 Driver Licence Minimum 1-2 years of experience working actively on New Zealand civil infrastructure, utilities, or drainage sites Interest in 3 Waters (potable drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater) Recommended Skills & Experience: NZ Certificate in Infrastructure or any water-related qualification Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers (WTR) endorsement Class 2 Licence Traffic Management experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
