About the role: An opportunity exists to join our high performing team based in our purpose-built facility in Mount Maunganui. Working in an inclusive and collaborative team environment, the role has responsibility for the technical aspects of the development of hygiene and marker products/services, including the quality assurance aspects, in both domestic and export markets. The position provides technical oversight and support to all aspects of the manufacturing and sales of hygiene and marker products. Developing and promoting recommended solutions and responses to capture the opportunities identified in industry trends, technical advances and market opportunities. Undertaking product development and regulatory compliance activities as approved in the new product development plan. Providing technical support, advice and maintaining excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders. Resolving compliance / product issues and managing customer enquiries and feedback. Maintaining compliance to GMP standards and ensure continuous compliance with internal and external process and regulatory requirements. Ensuring regulatory compliance for all products. Conducting internal audits to ensure processes are consistently applied and identify any areas requiring remedial actions. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. About you: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical position in a chemical manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry is essential. Proven ability to maintain standards by operating quality assurance and quality control processes in a manufacturing environment. An enquiring mind and strong interest in research and development. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Proactive mindset with a strong focus on driving results and achieving objectives.
