The Transformation and Delivery Practice is responsible for shaping and delivering ASB’s strategic change portfolio. Motetūranga | About the Role: As a Project Manager , you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of projects that drive meaningful business outcomes across ASB. Working with diverse stakeholders, delivery teams, and business partners, you'll be responsible for turning strategic objectives into successful delivery outcomes while ensuring risks, dependencies, and change impacts are effectively managed. You'll bring strong planning, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, enabling delivery teams to achieve outcomes better, sooner, and safer while applying the ASB Delivery Framework and associated governance standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver meaningful outcomes - Lead end-to-end delivery of projects that achieve agreed business outcomes and benefits, ensuring scope, timeframes, quality, costs, and risks are effectively managed throughout the delivery lifecycle. Create confidence through planning and execution - Establish and maintain clear delivery plans, roadmaps, budgets, governance, and reporting that provide transparency, support decision making, and enable predictable delivery outcomes. Build trusted partnerships - Develop strong relationships across business teams, delivery partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to create alignment, manage expectations, and drive successful outcomes. Navigate complexity and manage risk - Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and trade-offs, enabling informed decisions and helping delivery teams maintain momentum in complex environments. Enable sustainable change and benefits realisation - Partner with business and change teams to embed new ways of working, support adoption, and help ensure intended business benefits are realised. Lift delivery capability - Apply the ASB Delivery Framework and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, lessons learned, and practical delivery insights across the wider delivery community. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Proven experience leading and delivering projects in complex organisational environments. Strong planning, governance, delivery management, and risk management capability. Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes at all levels. Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating people, resources, and priorities to deliver results. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities. Experience working across Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery environments.
