Kiwifruit Orchard Supervisor

Tirohanga Fruit Co Ltd (Tirofruit) is a family owned and operated company with its roots in kiwifruit, based in the beautiful Tirohanga area in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. We are seeking 1 dynamic experienced individual ready to lead a team of orchard workers in all aspects of kiwifruit growing. The role: Set and maintain standards Organise workflow Manage workers from a range of nationalities with varying degrees of English fluency Accurately enter staffing attendance data and job details Liaise with Orchard Managers Respond to HR & Payroll as required Contribute to H&S on all our worksites Build knowledge around GAP/GRASP Compliance Must be flexible and able to work Monday to Sunday, 7.30am to 7.00pm (due to weather conditions) Essential skills and experience: 3+ years’ experience in all aspects of growing kiwifruit You are a Confident Communicator - Experienced People Leader, Quality Focused - Health & Safety Champion, Firm but Fair with a Positive Outlook, Strong Work Ethic with a Professional Approach Experienced in Coaching & Demonstrating Lead by Example and Strive for Excellence Must haves: No criminal convictions Able to pass random drug & alcohol detection tests Availability to work weekends when necessary A legal right to work in New Zealand Competitive hourly rate Potential to benefit from a company bonus scheme #J-18808-Ljbffr
