Patientcentred: medicines focusedWe areseeking a Pharmacy Distribution team member to join our hospital pharmacyservice in Christchurch. This role plays a key part in ensuring medicines aresafely and efficiently supplied to clinical areas across our hospital sites.You willwork across Christchurch Hospital, Burwood Hospital and Hillmorton Hospital,supporting the distribution and movement of medicines and working closely withpharmacy and clinical teams. The role offers variety, a fast paced environmentand the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of hospital pharmacyoperations.You will bepart of a large, collaborative pharmacy team including pharmacists,technicians, assistants and administrative staff, all working together todeliver timely and reliable medicines services that support patient care.We arecommitted to supporting and developing our pharmacy assistants and distributionstaff. Key Tasks Providingpharmacy stock requirements to all areas within the organisation Preparingorders using bar code scanning, stock selection, checking and packing Deliveryof orders across hospital sites Responsibilityfor maintaining stock levels in a designated clinical area Answeringenquiries from wards and other pharmacy staff Basiccomputer data entry About You We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail focused and enjoys being part of a busy team environment.
