About the Marketing Manager Roles - we have 2! Evolve Outdoors Group is looking for two outstanding Marketing Managers, one for each of our brands; Hunters Element and Desolve Supply Co. We are reshaping our Marketing team to ensure each role has clarity and empowerment to operate so they can deliver their best work. Working with our Senior Brand Manager, who will take care of strategic, longer range thinking across both brands, the Marketing Manager roles live and breathe life into planning and executing each season's integrated marketing activity, both in driving DTC sales through our owned Ecomm channel and delivering sell-through for our retail partners across NZ, Australia and beyond. Hunters Element is an established brand, with more than 20 years history. Desolve Supply Co. is still emerging, with a shift from a casual wear focus, to performance fishing gear, the brand has heaps of potential to grow in NZ and crucially in Australia, too. Role Purpose The Marketing Manager owns seasonal marketing activity, bringing the brand and our new products to life across every customer touchpoint. This role turns brand and seasonal strategy into live, in-market activity – planning and activating each season across owned and paid channels, driving retail and partner programmes, and ensuring consistent, credible brand expression in everything we put in front of customers. Scope of Role Seasonal Planning & Activation: Plan and activate each season across owned and paid channels. Retail Partnership Management: Manage retail partnerships across sale, promotional events and activations that drive brand visibility and sell-through. Partnerships & Sponsorship: Work with partners and sponsorships to align activity and elevate the brand. Sales Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales to produce in-season and forward seasonal plans, in-store POS and VM, and pitch book production. Content & Community: Work with the Social & Community Manager to shape content and engagement initiatives. Brand & Product Storytelling: Bring the brand and seasonal stories to life, working with the Senior Brand Manager and Creative team across all touchpoints, including helping plan seasonal photoshoots. Key Stakeholders: CMO, Senior Brand Manager, Marketing team, Product Team, Sales Team, Creative Team, Ecommerce, Performance Marketing, Community & Ambassadors. Key Responsibilities Own seasonal marketing activity, translating brand and seasonal strategy into live, in-market plans. Plan and activate seasonal campaigns across owned and paid channels, ensuring the right stories land at the right time. Bring the product narrative to life across all touchpoints, including website, email, advertising and social platforms. Ensure consistent, credible brand expression across all channels and markets. Manage retail partnerships across sale, promotional events and activations that drive brand visibility and sell-through. Build strong relationships with retailer partners so our brand stays front of mind across their marketing efforts. Work with the Sales Team to deliver in-store POS and visual merchandising that elevates the brand at point of sale. Work with partners and sponsorships to align activity and elevate the brand. Ensure partner and sponsorship activity is brand-true and supports seasonal objectives. Partner closely with Sales to produce all in-season and forward seasonal plans. Lead pitch book production and supporting sales materials for retail and trade audiences. Align seasonal activation with sell-in and sell-through priorities. Work with the Social & Community Manager to shape content and engagement initiatives that build audience and advocacy. Partner with the Senior Brand Manager and creative team to bring the brand and seasonal stories to life in ways that connect with prospects and existing customers. Help plan and coordinate seasonal photoshoots with the Senior Brand Manager and creative team, ensuring imagery captures hero products and seasonal stories for use across all channels. Maintain consistency between brand storytelling and in-market execution. On-time delivery of in-season and forward seasonal plans to meet seasonal revenue goals. Effectiveness of seasonal activation across owned and paid channels. Strength and value of retail partnerships and joint activations. Brand consistency and credibility across all channels and touchpoints. Growth in footprint and market share with the Rural segment. Quality of product storytelling adoption across web, email, advertising and social. Execution Excellence: Delivers seasonal activity on time, on brand and with clarity of intent. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Fluent in hunting and/or fishing; an experienced hunter/fisher able to authenticity-check marketing outputs and connect credibly with our audience. Proven experience in marketing, campaign or brand activation roles. Strong capability in seasonal campaign planning and multi-channel activation across owned and paid media. Experience managing retail partnerships, promotional activations and in-store POS/VM. Excellent communication, briefing and stakeholder management skills.
