The team is known for producing distinctive, high-end projects throughout New Zealand and internationally, offering designers the opportunity to work on landmark developments within a collaborative, design-focused studio. Role Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards Oversee day to day studio operations and personnel management for the design team Understand the financial aspects of running multiple design projects, ensuring on time and on budget delivery Actively drive localized Business Development and retaining existing clients Lead pitch presentations, terms and fee agreements Manage the collation and production of formal RFPs, EOIs, and pitch documentation Manage and coordinate internal design teams across multiple projects, optimizing resource allocation and workflow Requirements Demonstrated ability to lead and manage all key responsibilities across complex design projects A background within the hotel and hospitality sector Strong commercial acumen with the capability to progress into an Executive Director and future partnership role Degree-qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture Proven business development success, with an established industry network Experienced in preparing fee proposals, negotiating contracts and managing scope variations Comprehensive knowledge of the NZ Building Code, NZS/AS and BRANZ standards Excellent design leadership, presentation and stakeholder management skills Strong commercial understanding of project profitability, resource allocation and fee management Market leading salary, flexible working environment and supportive work culture Working on some of the best projects available to New Zealand A friendly and supportive working environment A broad range of exciting projects that help shape our built environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
