Job Description
Waikato Regional Council in Hamilton is seeking a Graduate - Fish Passage Technician for a fixed-term six-month role from 2 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. Based in Hamilton, you will travel across the Waikato Region to identify barriers to native wai māori ika/freshwater fish migration and conduct on-site surveys. You will work with scientists to plan surveys, use GIS software, and collect high-quality ecological data for reporting and remediation recommendations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
