Role Description The Mobile Lending Manager is a full-time role based in Wellington with a hybrid working arrangement, combining time in the office with the ability to work from home. In this position, the Mobile Lending Manager meets with customers in various locations to understand their lending needs, particularly around home loans and personal lending, and provides tailored advice and solutions. The role involves managing the end-to-end lending process, from initial enquiry and application assessment through to approval and settlement, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The Mobile Lending Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, referral partners, and internal teams to grow the lending portfolio and deliver a high level of service. Daily activities include conducting lending interviews, preparing documentation, following up on applications, and proactively identifying opportunities to support customers’ broader financial goals. Qualifications Experience in lending or banking, including home lending or personal credit assessment, with strong knowledge of lending policies and regulatory requirements. Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to build relationships, communicate clearly, and provide tailored financial solutions in person and via digital channels. Sales and business development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, work to targets, and manage a customer pipeline effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation, risk assessment, and compliance. Ability to work independently in a mobile and hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing customer and business needs. Proficiency with banking systems, CRM tools, and standard office software; comfort using digital platforms to engage with customers. Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, commerce, or a related field is advantageous, along with industry certifications in lending or financial services. Previous experience in the New Zealand banking sector or financial services and familiarity with the local housing and lending market is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
