Profile assistant / Forklift Operator - Night Shift Are you a solid forklift operator looking for a new career path and the chance to learn a skilled trade? We’re currently on the lookout for a Profile Assistant to join our team in Avondale. This role would suit someone with good forklift experience who’s keen to get their foot in the door within the sheetmetal industry and build a long-term career in production and manufacturing. This role would suit someone who wants to do night shift, or a graveyard shift. What you’ll be doing Operating forklifts, manual handling up to 25kgs and unload goods and materials efficiently and safely onto CNC machines Assisting with the storage and retrieval of goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory management Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to keep it in good working condition Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment Collaborating with the warehouse team to optimise workflow and productivity What we’re looking for A valid counterbalance Forklift Operator's license Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and inventory Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team A keen eye for safety and the ability to follow established procedures Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role and pick up extra shifts Why Work With Premier?
