Our mission is to provide customers with the absolute best products and services to create premium turf performance and appearance. Major customers include leading golf clubs, local government, contractors, landscapers, vineyards and nationwide big box retailers. As Irrigation Technical Sales & Service Representative, you will spend the majority of your day supporting our existing customer base with servicing and technical requirements, meeting new clients and selling our products and services. Whilst not on the road, you will spend your time planning ahead, checking client satisfactionand developing new and better solutions to improve client pumping, electrical and control systems. About the role and day to day activity Plan call cycles and sales strategies Build business by contacting and calling on existing and potential clients. Place orders (usually supplied from DC in Auckland) Provide technical servicing to existing irrigation control systems Client and support staff training Monitorand reporton opportunities, sales and competitor activity. Skills and experience Proven technical irrigation experience i A knowledge and passion for golf, turf & irrigation Ability to relate to clients, build trust and identify opportunities A positive "can do / how do we make this work"approach to life Solid analytical and decision making skills Great attention to detail Ability to work to a budget and timeline Golf experience would be valuable although not essential as training will be provided.
