We’re looking for a motivated and personable Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team based in Tauriko, Tauranga. This newly created role is focused on expanding our customer base across Te Moana-a-Toitehuatahi (Bay of Plenty). The Role This is a dynamic, on-the-road position ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face engagement, building meaningful client relationships, and driving business growth. You will play a key role in growing our presence in the region, developing new customer relationships, and uncovering opportunities within both new and existing accounts. Alongside your field-based work, you’ll spend time in the Tauranga branch collaborating with internal teams and managing administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Grow a small customer base into a strong, active portfolio Maintain a consistent call cycle to ensure high customer satisfaction Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients Negotiate and close sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to align supply with demand Deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs Note: This is not a work-from-home role and may require occasional weekend phone availability. About You You are a confident, self-driven sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building lasting client relationships.
