Kiwifruit Summer Work

Interested in learning what it takes to grow our world famous kiwifruit? We’re seeking enthusiastic and hard working people to join our team to grow and harvest kiwifruit. You'll be working in a team of 12-15 other backpackers so it's a great way to make friends. We love meeting people from all over the world and getting to create an awesome work environment and culture. Growing kiwifruit is a year round operation but there are two parts of the season that are particularly busy - this is your time to shine. These are Spring (October - December) and Harvest (March - June). Job requirements: No experience required as we will train you on site. However, you must be teachable, willing to learn and have a good attitude. Hard working and reliable (although there can be some flexibility on working hours). Must be between 1.65m - 1.95m tall. Good team member. Spring work involves jobs such as bud thinning, removing blanks, vine training, fruit thinning, training canes up strings and other odd jobs around the orchard.
