You'll coordinate daily site activities, manage labour, plant and materials, and work closely with Project Managers to deliver quality outcomes for clients. Key responsibilities include: Leading and mentoring site crews to achieve project milestones Supervising the installation of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure Coordinating labour, subcontractors, plant and materials Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and project specifications Maintaining high standards of quality assurance Driving a strong health and safety culture through toolbox meetings, risk management and compliance Liaising with engineers, project managers and clients to keep projects on track Supporting and developing apprentices and less experienced team members About You You'll be someone who enjoys leading by example and takes pride in delivering quality work. Ideally you'll have: Proven experience in civil construction, particularly Three Waters infrastructure NZ Certificate in Pipeline Construction & Maintenance (Level 3 or 4), or Plumbing and/or Drainlaying qualifications Previous experience leading crews or supervising civil construction projects Strong understanding of health and safety requirements The ability to read engineering plans and specifications Excellent communication and organisational skills A current NZ Class 1 Driver Licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements highly regarded) Please note: The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and Ministry of Justice check as part of the recruitment process.
