We're looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a manufacturing business. This is a hands-on planning role where you'll work closely with production, engineering, procurement and inventory teams to ensure the right materials, resources and schedules are in place to meet customer demand. What you'll be doing: Develop and maintain production schedules across multiple mechanical manufacturing projects. Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure materials are available when needed. Monitor production capacity, identify bottlenecks and adjust schedules to keep work flowing. Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to manage changes and priorities. Track production performance and provide regular updates on progress and delivery timelines. Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and production efficiency. What we're looking for: Previous experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong understanding of production workflows, capacity planning and inventory management. Experience using ERP/MRP systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams. A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage changing priorities.
