The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who can confidently operate across the full lifecycle of civil construction projects. This is a genuinely hybrid position that combines contractor-side project delivery with client-side contract administration responsibilities. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, local authorities, and infrastructure clients, providing leadership from tender stage through to project completion. A key requirement of this role is the ability to work on both sides of the contract, including acting as Engineer's Representative and providing construction monitoring services on NZTA and local government projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end tender and bid management activities Support Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes Provide construction methodology and staging expertise Develop programmes, methodologies, and tender attributes Undertake commercial and risk reviews Client-Side Services: Review RFT documentation and contracts to identify and manage risk Act as Engineer's Representative, Engineer to Contract, Contract Administrator, or Independent Certifier Provide construction monitoring services Manage contractor and stakeholder relationships Project Delivery: Support contractors with successful project execution Provide construction planning and sequencing advice Undertake constructability reviews Identify and mitigate commercial and delivery risks Facilitate contractor/client interface management Provide project delivery and construction management support What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this position, you'll bring significant experience across civil infrastructure projects and be comfortable working in both contractor and client-facing environments.
