About the Role As a Clinical Psychologist in CAFS, youll provide specialist psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau. Youll deliver evidence-based therapies, including individual and group interventions, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, supporting mental health and wellbeing for young people across Hawkes Bay. Youll also play a key role in promoting culturally safe practice, upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and ensuring high standards of care within a dynamic and supportive environment. About the Team/Service/ Location Ngā Harakeke mai Rongokako Child, Adolescent & Family Services is a dedicated team based at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital. We work collaboratively with whānau, schools, and community agencies to provide holistic, family-centred mental health and addiction services for young people. About you As a Clinical Psychologist, you will bring: A Masters Degree in Psychology with NZ Psychologists Board-approved practicum/internship. Registration under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act with a current practising certificate. Clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health and addictions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity. Ability to deliver or willingness to train in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
