Police and Families Credit Union – Wellington Central, North Island The Police Credit Union is a national financial services and membership organisation providing banking services exclusively to NZ Police, NZ Defence Force and their families. We’re a not-for-profit organisation that exists solely to make a real difference to their financial wellbeing. Our members (customers) are at the heart of everything we do, so we pride ourselves on providing the best service and the right outcomes for them. We’re looking for someone to join a small and friendly member service team. You’ll have a passion for helping people, strong attention to detail, high work ethic, a great customer service attitude, and you’ll love connecting with people. You’ll be the first point of contact for our members, whether it’s over the phone, by email or messaging - assisting them with their daily banking needs. You’ll also help manage and process various reports and other essential administrative tasks that help keep our organisation going. To be successful in this role you will need to have: A knack for creating great customer experiences and helping people The ability to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail with basic financial management knowledge Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong technology skills. A proven ability to multitask and pick up a broad range of new information quickly. A high level of initiative with the ability to solve problems and look for ways to help members and your colleagues. The ability to work well within a team and across the organisation. A proactive mindset, looking to make the most of opportunities to help members and the Credit Union. Preferred - experience in banking Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Please note, this position is subject to both Police Vetting (no convictions) and an acceptable Credit Check. This is a full-time, permanent position primarily based in the Wellington CBD and on a rostered basis from our agency office at the Royal New Zealand Police College, commencing as soon as possible.
