BestStart Mt Eden is looking for an exceptional Centre Administrator to help keep our busy centre running smoothly and efficiently. If you have strong communication and organisational skills and enjoy working in a welcoming and friendly environment, this could be the perfect role for you. As our Centre Administrator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our centre. You’ll be the welcoming face for our whānau and a vital member of our team. Your daily responsibilities will include: Managing bookings and responding to parent inquiries Accurate data entry and maintaining parent accounts Processing payments and direct debits Meeting daily, weekly, and term deadlines Providing exceptional customer service and admin support Interacting with tamariki in our warm and friendly environment You’ll also have the full support of our National Admin Support Team, including access to a helpdesk and strong systems to set you up for success. Our detailed induction and ongoing training ensure you’re confident in meeting Ministry of Education compliance requirements. This is a permanent, part-time position working 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday) About You We’re looking for someone who is: A natural team player with excellent communication skills Compassionate, approachable, and supportive with whānau Highly organised and detail-oriented Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and general IT systems Experienced in admin or account processes (experience in ECE is a bonus) Confident in handling customer queries and going the extra mile Why Choose BestStart?
