The Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) Learning team supports learning and capability development across a diverse national workforce. We are looking for an organised, proactive and relationship-focused Work Programme Coordinator to join our team. Te Haeata/The OpportunityThis is an opportunity to play a key role in coordinating a national learning work programme that supports frontline service delivery across the justice system. As the Work Programme Coordinator, you will help bring structure, visibility and momentum to our work. You’ll work closely with Learning Managers and stakeholders to coordinate planning activities, monitor progress against priorities, support governance processes, track budgets and ensure information is organised and readily available for decision-making. This is more than an administration role. We are looking for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, building strong relationships, solving problems and helping teams deliver on their commitments. In this role you will: Coordinate and support the OSD Learning work programme and its associated activities. Monitor milestones, reporting requirements and key deliverables to ensure priorities remain on track Support governance and planning processes through the preparation of agendas, meeting papers, minutes and programme reporting. Maintain budgets and track expenditure and financial transactions. Develop and maintain effective document management and information systems Coordinate meetings, logistics and other activities that support programme delivery. Build strong relationships across OSD Learning, and the wider Ministry. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working. Please note this role is a 6 month Fixed Term opportunity. Ō pūkenga/Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll bring excellent coordination skills, a strong customer focus and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environmentIdeally, you will have: Experience coordinating projects or programmes of work or business initiatives Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and building effective working relationships. Experience supporting governance processes, reporting or programme administration. Experience maintaining budgets, monitoring expenditure or providing financial administration support. Strong written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documentation and reports. High levels of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and AI applications. The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to its application in your work. A relevant tertiary qualification and knowledge of project management methodologies would be advantageous. Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe remuneration range for this role is $67,066 to $85,567 pro rata, with the appointing salary determined by the skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
