Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving people challenges, and helping create positive workplace experiences. This is a varied generalist HR role where you’ll work closely with leaders, providing trusted advice on everything from employee relations to recruitment, performance, talent development and change management. About the Role As an HR Advisor, you’ll partner with leaders to provide high quality people advice and support across the full employee life cycle. Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you’ll support a broad range of initiatives and contribute to creating an inclusive, positive and high performing workplace culture. What You’ll Be Doing Providing trusted HR advice and coaching to leaders across a broad range of people matters Supporting employee relations processes, including performance management, disciplinary matters, investigations, restructures and personal grievances Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design and change initiatives Building leadership capability through coaching, guidance and learning opportunities Using people data and insights to identify trends and support decision making Contributing to employee engagement, well being and culture initiatives Working closely with specialist HR teams to deliver excellent people outcomes Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and best practice HR processes About You You’ll be an experienced HR Advisor professional who enjoys working in a complex and fast paced environment. You’re known for your sound judgement, strong relationship building skills and ability to navigate sensitive situations with confidence and professionalism. You’ll also bring: At least 3 years experience in a generalist HR Advisory role Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels A solutions-focused and pragmatic approach Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications A relevant tertiary qualification or HR professional qualification (or working towards one) In return, you will work within a supportive and collaborative team, working alongside senior HR professionals.
