Class 4 Driver | Civil Operator (WTR)

About the Role Looking for a role that gets you out from behind the wheel and into the action? We're seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver with WTR endorsements to join a busy civil construction team working across a variety of infrastructure, earthworks, roading, and subdivision projects throughout Christchurch. This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll be operating a range of machinery, driving Class 4 trucks, and working alongside a skilled crew to help deliver quality civil projects safely and efficiently. Wages $30 - $38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Location Christchurch What's In It For You Competitive hourly rates Ongoing full-time work Variety of civil projects across Canterbury Work with reputable civil contractors Supportive team environment Immediate start available Opportunity to further develop your skills and experience What You Will Be Doing Operating Class 4 trucks safely and efficiently Operating excavators, loaders, rollers, and other civil machinery Assisting with earthworks, drainage, roading, and site preparation Completing daily pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance Working alongside site supervisors and crews to meet project deadlines Following site health and safety procedures at all times What We Require Current Class 4 Driver Licence Current WTR endorsements Previous civil construction experience Experience operating a range of heavy machinery Strong understanding of health and safety requirements Reliable work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Class 5 Licence advantageous but not essential Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this.
