Gate Fabricator/Labourer - Fixed Term Opportunity - Afternoon/Night Shift We are seeking a Gate Fabricator/Labourer to join the production team during a busy period. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, working with tools, and being part of a busy fabrication environment. You will be assisting the fabrication team with the assembly and preparation of steel gates and fencing products, along with general workshop and yard duties. This role requires someone who is physically fit, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. The Role: Assisting with the fabrication and assembly of gates and fencing products Measuring, cutting, grinding, and preparing materials Using hand and power tools safely Loading and unloading materials Supporting the fabrication team with daily production tasksCompleting general workshop and yard duties Maintaining a clean and organised work area Working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures Working with the team to meet production deadlines What We Are Looking For: Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic Experience using hand and power tools is preferred Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or labouring experience is advantageous Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude Willingness to get stuck in and support the wider production team Position Details: Location: Hornby South Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am Hours per week: 40 hours Start: Immediate start available Duration: Approximately 6 weeks Pay rate: $27.76 per hour + 8% holiday pay Employment type: Fixed-term assignment Please note: This role is not suitable for Working Holiday Visa holders.
