Join our Medical Imaging team as a Radiographic Assistant , where you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services. About the Role As a Radiographic Assistant, you'll be a valued member of our Medical Imaging team, helping to ensure patients receive safe, efficient and compassionate care throughout their imaging journey. Working alongside Medical Radiation Technologists, Sonographers, Radiologists and administrative staff, you'll support the coordination of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound and MRI examinations while assisting with patient movement, preparation and overall patient flow. This varied role combines direct patient support with administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on care and organisational tasks. In this role, you will: Assist with coordinating patient flow across the Medical Imaging Department. Support patients before, during and after imaging examinations. Assist with patient transfers and movement in a safe and respectful manner. Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and resources are readily available. Complete administrative tasks associated with imaging appointments and patient records. Work collaboratively with the wider imaging team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. About you You’ll be a positive, adaptable and reliable team player who enjoys helping others and thrives in a busy clinical environment. You’ll also bring: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A caring and professional approach to patient care. Strong organisational and time management skills. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Confidence using computer systems and undertaking administrative tasks. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement. Previous healthcare or administrative experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
